What We Believe

We believe that God is the creator of all things, exists from eternity to eternity but is present in our every moment, in our every breath. He has the godhead of the divine Triune. He made all things for His good purposes and for the pleasure of us, His children. He wants a right relationship with each of us and has placed eternity in our hearts in order that we might find our way back to Him.

He sent his son, Jesus Christ to dwell in human form among us, to live with the same challenges, temptations and frailties of mankind, to serve as the example for all people on how to serve each other and to serve and worship our Father. Christ came to pay the life debt that we owe through his sacrifice on the cross and providing us with eternal spiritual life through His triumph over death. Christ came to find us, redeem us and restore us.

The Holy Spirit is critical to living out our spiritual journey of Sanctification. The Holy Spirit is ever present in our lives directing and urging us forward in becoming more like the image of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit enables and empowers us individually to find salvation and redemption through Jesus Christ as well as enabling and empowering us along our journey toward Christian perfection.

The Holy Spirit is also critical to the efficacy of the efforts of the church both local and universal, to take the gospel message into the world, to bring people to an understanding of the Word of God, to influence the acceptance of the offer of salvation through Christ as well as to have the courage and strength to “run the race”.

We believe in the complete authority and sufficiency of the Holy Bible which “is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”
